The
2012 Brooklyn Hip Hop Festival is set to kick off from July 9th to the
14th and Brooklyn Bodega has announced that Busta Rhymes will be the
headlining performer.
During the 2011 event, Busta was a surprise guest at the festival as
Q-Tip was the main act. This year, he's slated as the top bill and will
work with the shows Executive Director Wes Jackson on creating a list of
"Friends" who will serve as featured performers.
In addition to Busta being the main act, Brooklyn Bodega also
announced that artists Freeway, former Natural Elements emcee KA, Clear
Soul Forces, Melo-X and Jasmine Solano will also be hitting the stage.
The actual festival will take place on July 14th at Pier 3, Brooklyn Bridge Park from 12-8.
