Charlie Sheen is returning to the big screen for the first time in two years.
The actor has been cast as the (fictional) President of the United States in Machete Kills, director Robert Rodriguez announced via Twitter on Thursday night.
Sheen retweeted the announcement, adding “My Fellow Americans!”
Machete Kills is a sequel to the 2010 film Machete, which starred Danny Trejo, Robert De Niro, Jessica Alba, and Lindsay Lohan, among others.
Trejo and Alba will be reprising their roles.
Sheen last appeared on the big screen in 2010, making small cameo appearances in Due Date and Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps.
