Aside
from the growing feud that they've had with G.O.O.D. Music, Drake and
Lil Wayne are facing even more serious trouble as a judge has ordered
them to pay more than $400,000 to a lawsuit filed against them after
they allegedly skipped out on a performance.
A judge has ordered the rap superstars to pay a sum in the amount of
$432,337.50 to a company known as Imperial Entertainment Group, who
booked the Young Money artists to perform at a club in 2011; a set which
they never gave.
But Drizzy and Weezy contend that they were never notified about the
performance and in legal court documents state that there were no
contracts signed and no other notifications were made to appear at the
venue.
The rappers affirm that the company used another group, Melanzh
Enterprises, to schedule the concert, but had no authority to do so.
They're looking to have the default judgement against them thrown out.
