Employee accused of stealing vases from Rock Hill cemetery

ROCK HILL — An employee at Grand Memorial Park Cemetery is accused of stealing 12 broken bronze vases from the business, according to a Rock Hill police report.

Police have not named a suspect but have issued a warrant for the 27-year-old employee, the report states.

The cemetery’s owner told police that the employee tried to sell the vases to Snipes Salvage on Old York Road but they refused to buy them.
