8:30 p.m., an employee with Belk at the Rock Hill Galleria on Dave Lyle
Boulevard reported that a black man dressed in a purple-and-white
striped T-shirt, purple hat, black tennis shoes and with long dreadlocks
took the jeans off the display rack, according to a Rock Hill police
report. After picking up the jeans he walked toward the door, even
though she asked him to stop.
She followed him out of the door and watched him leave in an older model, four-door sedan, the report states.
The
employee said the store has been robbed multiple times in the past few
months, with a similar suspect description, the report states.
