Miami Heat 2012 NBA Champions!!!! Celebration Thread

English: Wizards v/s Heat 03/30/11

The Miami Heat have won the 2012 NBA Championship!!! Have all your fun and do your celebration here in this thread. There will be a game recap up later, but for now just enjoy the fact that YOUR Miami Heat have climbed the mountain and won their second NBA Title! LETS GO HEAT!! LETS GO HEAT!! LETS GO HEAT!!
MIAMI (AP) — LeBron James is a world champion, and the Miami Heat have climbed to the top of NBA. James capped his title bid with 26 points, 13 assists and 11 rebounds, Chris Bosh added 23 points, Dwyane Wade scored 20 points and the Heat finished off the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 5 of the NBA Finals on Thursday night, winning 121-106. Mike Miller scored 23 points on 7-for-8 shooting from 3-point range for Miami, which adds this title to the one it claimed in 2006. Kevin Durant scored 32 points for the Thunder, who took Game 1 of the series and then dropped four straight. James, Wade and Bosh came out with 3:01 left, and the Heat crowd roared the rest of the way.
LeBron James really is a King. Finally. A few weeks shy of the two-year anniversary of his infamous made-for- television special, “The Decision”, LeBron delivered on his promise to bring an NBA championship to Miami.

The Miami Heat defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder 121-106 to win the 2012 NBA Finals in five games at American Airlines Arena on Thursday. Reigning NBA MVP LeBron James has won the first title of his career, as has much-maligned All-Star forward Chris Bosh. All-Star guard Dwyane Wade gets a ring to add to the one he won in 2006. James was the no-brainer Finals MVP in his third trip to the Finals. Two former members of the Portland Trail Blazers -- James Jones and Juwan Howard -- earn rings. Heat coach Erik Spoelstra -- who played basketball for the University of Portland and is the son of former Blazers executive Jon Spoelstra -- gets his first title as head coach after serving as an assistant in 2006. The Heat finish the playoffs 16-7 after defeating the New York Knicks, Indiana Pacers and Boston Celtics in succession in the Eastern Conference playoffs. The Thunder wind up 13-7 after knocking out the Dallas Mavericks, Los Angeles Lakers and San Antonio Spurs in the Western Conference playoffs. Thus ends the ill-fated, 66-game 2011-12 lockout-shortened season. Let us never speak of it again. The 2012 NBA Draft is one week from Thursday night. The Las Vegas Summer League begins on July 13. --
