Police seek suspects in Chester beating death

 CHESTER — A man whom police found beaten and unconscious in a Chester home Friday died this morning, authorities said.

Responding to a call about an assault, police arrived at 103 Tremont Drive in Chester on Friday and found Bradley McAteer, 24, beaten and “unresponsive.”

McAteer was flown to Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte with life-threatening injuries. He died this morning, Chester County Deputy Coroner Tommy Williams said.

Police are searching for two suspects in connection with the death
