Prosecutors will NOT charge Timothy Busfield with sexual assault, for allegedly groping a date at an L.A. movie theater.
TMZ broke the story ... a woman claimed the star of "The West Wing," "thirtysomething" and "Revenge of the Nerds" groped her in the breast and genital areas while they were kissing, and she felt it was an unwanted touching. Must have been a really bad movie.
The L.A. City Attorney has concluded there is insufficient evidence to go forward with the matter, so no charges will be filed.
As for Busfield ... we strongly recommend Netflix.
