Waka Flocka Feels His Sound Brought Jay-Z Back
Waka Flocka is pretty upset about various artists jacking his "sound".  He feels pretty confident these days, and his ego is showing greatly.  During a recent interview with Complex, Flocka spoke about how he believes his sound "re-sparked" the careers of various artists, and Jay-Z and Kanye West were a few of the artists who he believes have been copy-cating his musical style.  He used Jay-Z and Kanye's "H.A.M." off of their Watch The Throne album as an example of people taking off of his style.
"What are y'all gonna say now?  Jay-Z stupid as hell? My sound is wack? You gonna say that? They love the sound. They can't run away from it. That shit re-sparked n*ggas' careers. My sound put life into a lot of people's careers. I feel like my sound changed hip-hop. Period. It's crazy when I came out with it everybody laughed at it, but the next year everybody's doing it. They getting credit for the sh*t you started. You be like, 'D*mn, how is this n*gga a genius for doing something I started?'"
You have to wonder how Jay and Kanye might feel about this?
