And just like that ... Rihanna's back where it all started ... Chris Brown's passenger seat.

The on-again couple relived their past earlier today in L.A., where they picked up some refreshments -- including an Icee -- at a gas station convenience store.

You'll recall, Rihanna was riding shotgun back in 2009 when CB unleashed a ferocious beatdown on her face -- but today, she was nothing but smiles.

Oh yeah, that red sweatshirt she's wearing is Chris' clothing line -- Black Pyramid.

Hope Part 2 works out better.

She's been a sex tape star ... a singer ... a designer ... a TV star ... and now Paris Hilton is a frickin' DJ.

Paris hit the wheels of steel during a concert in Brazil ... and debuted a new song she's been working on with DJ AfroJack ... one of the best DJs on the planet.

But before she played the song, she sucked right up to the crowd ... telling them "I've partied all around the world ... to the best parties ... but I've never seen anyone party like you guys do in Brazil."

Hilton also said she and AfroJack are releasing an album soon.

Not everyone's a fan of DJ Paris ... after Deadmau5 caught wind, he posted a tweet saying, "It's over."

He later added, "To be fair... the mayans saw this sh*t coming."

Conrad Murray is CRUSHING his reading list behind bars ... finishing more than 60 books during his stint in captivity ... including "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" ... this according to his baby mama.

"Don't Worry" Murray's on-again, off-again GF Nicole Alvarez says she's been in constant contact with Connie since he was locked up in L.A. County Jail ... and says he's been desperately trying to keep his mind active.

"He's been doing a lot of reading ... he's able to transport himself to all these different places ... like Sweden or Paris or Afghanistan."

Alvarez says Murray has also started a virtual "university" behind bars ... educating other inmates in various subjects.

Let's hope anesthesiology ain't on the syllabus.

Michael Jackson's Death 3 Years Later

Today marks the 3-year anniversary of the death of Michael Jackson -- an event that had an impact across the globe.

Tons of lives have been changed since that fateful day ... Conrad Murray went to jail ... MJ's kids have moved in with their grandmother ... numerous doctors have been exposed for sucking up to celebrities and giving them pills they shouldn't have ... and Corey Feldman got another 15 minutes of fame.

Of course, the world mourned together during MJ's memorial service at the Staples Center in Los Angeles ... when his daughter Paris choked back tears and said how much she loved her father ... and when Jermaine performed his touching rendition of "Smile."

Michael was eventually laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale, CA.

He was only 50-years-old.
