ROCK HILL — An overnight fire caused $1,000 in damage to a Rock Hill home.
Around
7:30 p.m. Monday, fire crews were called out to 1596 Crestdale Road in
response to a kitchen fire, said Rock Hill Fire Department Battalion
Chief Steve Rogers.
Two engines and a ladder, along with Rock Hill
Fire Battalion 1, responded to the scene and put out the fire by 8:05
p.m., Rogers said.
Cooking grease sparked the blaze and damaged
the kitchen cabinets. There was also light smoke damage throughout the
house, Rogers said.
No injuries were reported and the home's residents weren't displaced, he said.
